The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruption to how we teach. Over 2 years later, we now have a lot to reflect on and a lot of lessons learned. This session will shed some light on those lessons, and demonstrate an e-learning platform that is tailored to facilitate evidence-based medical education.

Dr. Adonis Wazir MD and Consultant at Lecturio. Adonis is a medical doctor based in London and a Masters’s student in Medical Education at Swansea University. He graduated from the University of Balamand in Lebanon and worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Emergency Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, and as a researcher with the Eastern Mediterranean Office of the World Health Organization. During his studies, Adonis served as the president of the Lebanese Medical Students’ International Committee and later served as the Regional Director of the Eastern Mediterranean Region of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations. As a Medical Education Consultant at Lecturio, he conducts and reviews research on health professions education, creates content, and delivers capacity-building webinars and workshops to students and faculty. Adonis is part of the team that ensures evidence-based learning science strategies are at the core of the Lecturio platform.
