I’ll discuss with you the challenges and opportunities of doing science in a developing countries uh and the developing country I have taken the example of Pakistan what are the opportunities and what are the challenges of of doing science in a country like Pakistan of establishing Pakistan the scientific institutions and bodies and R&D institutions in Pakistan in Pakistan the Pakistan Academy of Sciences the idea was conceived in 1947 and uh Pakistan Academy of Sciences was established in 1953 and the PC sir the Pakistan Council
for scientific and Industrial Research it was established in 1953 Pakistan atomic energy in 1956 Sparco in 1961 PCS Pakistan Council for Science and Technology are National
commission for Science and Technology in 1962, they were established in 1967 and 1976 the Pakistan Science Foundation was established more than 50 years ago in 1973 and the ministry of Science and Technology which is heading 16 organizations.
