Prof. Mitra Amini

• Prof. Mitra Amini MD, MPH, Ms. is a Professor of medicine at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran. She is the assessor for World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) in recognition of accreditation programs. She is a community medicine specialist with a master degree in medical education and a master degree in public health.. She has a history of working in the medical education field for more than 20 years Concerning enhancing medical education to improve the overall health of communities. Professor Mitra Amini’s profession is focused on teacher training, curriculum development, evaluation, and accreditation. Her research background is in the field of medical education. She is the chief of the education development office and the clinical education research center in Shiraz Medical School. Professor Mitra Amini has a great interest in quality assurance in medical education. She is a member of the national medical schools’ accreditation assessors in Iran. She is also the associate editor of BMC Medical Education Journal and the Foundation for Advancement of Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) fellow.
